Iris secures further support from the UK Production Sector

The Iris Prize has continued to develop and expand its relationship with the production sector in the UK by confirming Goleudy – the prestigious Cardiff based TV and lighting company – as the latest sponsor of the inaugural international prize.

Formed in 1997 by John Dowzell, Goleudy offers a wide range of lighting services, equipment and generators to Film and TV clients, with recent credits including the latest Peter Greenaway film Nightwatching (starring Martin Freeman, Toby Jones and Nathalie Press) and the S4C drama Calon Gaeth.

"It was fantastic for us to work with such a talented filmmaker like Peter Greenaway on his latest film, some of which, was shot right here in Wales. By supporting Iris, we look forward to collaborating with the next generation of new talent who can shine on an international stage" Said John Dowzell.

Goleudy will supply all the lighting services and equipment to the winner of the Iris Prize for their next short film which will be made in the UK.
