Israel’s International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Film Festival
Israel LGBT Film Festival will take place at the Tel Aviv, Jerusalem & Haifa Cinematheque. The festival's mission is to bring to Israeli audiences high quality and new films of gay, lesbian, bi, and transgender themes from around the world. Over five days of festival this year we will screen dozens of features, short films and documentaries from all over the world.
The festival particularly aspires to present Israeli audiences with important and world-renowned Queer auteur that are still unfamiliar to the local scene, to examine boundaries between art and pornography, to investigate social issues and to shed light on those who live their lives on the margins. And pay tribute to them by fierce documentary pieces. 23 - 27 June 2009.
