PRIZE
The Iris Prize – Cardiff’s International Gay and Lesbian Short Film Prize is the only LGBT short film prize in the world which allows the winner to make a new film. Iris is more than just a trophy that gathers dust or a certificate that yellows on the wall. Iris is what film makers need – funding, support and guidance. The Iris Prize is valued at £25,000!
The Iris Prize is open to any short film which is by, for, about or of interest to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or intersex audiences and which must have been completed within 2 years prior to the submission deadline which was 1 July 2011. (That is they must have been completed between 5 July 2010 and 1 July 2011.)
