Three teenage boys break out of a Spanish detention centre and set about reaching Madrid where the gang leader Xabi is determined to re-establish contact with a middle aged Basque separatist he had a brief affair with. To attract his teacher’s attention and further push forward the cause of the Basque nation Xabi sets up a small bomb factory and plans a terrorist act. Meanwhile the other two boys start relationships with girls, who figure out what’s going on. This fast moving sexy drama examines the relationship between old fashioned nationalism and the progressive acceptance of sexuality in today’s society.
