Playing it gay -playing it straight!
Just how difficult is it for an actor who’s straight to play someone’s whose gay, and conversely how easy is it for someone who’s gay to play it straight? We’ve assembled a panel of actors, both gay and straight, who’ve undertaken the task of accurately portraying a character whose sexual preference might differ from that of their own, whilst trying to avoid the obvious and negative stereotypes.
