Iris Prize Shorts 9 – Where Are We Now?

The final programme of Iris Prize shorts takes an uncompromising, hard-hitting look at LGBT+ life in the modern world
SUBTITLED

This final programme of international short films takes an uncompromising look at LGBT+ life in the modern world. From the plight of a young man wishing to cross the border between Mexico and the US to a real-life account of a refugee’s journey from Africa to Europe, these films tackle some of the most important issues of the day. Needless to say, these journeys are rarely easy, and their endings aren’t always happy, but these hard-hitting stories demand to be seen and heard.
